Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Industrial Investment and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (TADAWUL:2120), which rose 9.92% or 3.75 points to trade at 41.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110) added 9.90% or 9.10 points to end at 101.00 and Sustained Infrastructure Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2190) was up 9.88% or 3.40 points to 37.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (TADAWUL:4290), which fell 9.90% or 3.50 points to trade at 31.85 at the close. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) declined 6.67% or 0.01 points to end at 0.14 and First Milling Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2283) was down 5.12% or 4.50 points to 83.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 196 to 82 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (TADAWUL:2120) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.92% or 3.75 to 41.55. Shares in Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.90% or 9.10 to 101.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.72% or 0.59 to $81.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.70% or 0.60 to hit $85.03 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 8.00 to trade at $2,185.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.03% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 104.12.
