Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Media & Publishing and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co (SE:3007), which rose 10.00% or 7.60 points to trade at 83.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) added 9.95% or 8.40 points to end at 92.80 and Electrical Industries Co (SE:1303) was up 9.92% or 2.55 points to 28.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300), which fell 8.11% or 5.80 points to trade at 65.70 at the close. Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) declined 3.18% or 3.80 points to end at 115.80 and Al Hokair Group (SE:1820) was down 3.05% or 0.72 points to 22.86.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 95 to 92 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co (SE:3007) rose to all time highs; rising 10.00% or 7.60 to 83.60. Shares in Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) rose to 3-years highs; rising 9.95% or 8.40 to 92.80. Shares in Electrical Industries Co (SE:1303) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 9.92% or 2.55 to 28.25.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.33% or 0.62 to $47.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.14% or 0.57 to hit $50.54 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 7.05 to trade at $1836.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.45% to 4.5630, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.56% at 90.412.
