Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Hotels & Tourism and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Middle East Paper Co (TADAWUL:1202), which rose 9.96% or 4.05 points to trade at 44.70 at the close. Meanwhile, National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291) added 9.89% or 13.00 points to end at 144.40 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082) was up 7.03% or 23.00 points to 350.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4009), which fell 10.00% or 9.90 points to trade at 89.10 at the close. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) declined 9.96% or 1.64 points to end at 14.82 and Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL:2240) was down 9.96% or 2.60 points to 23.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 144 to 134 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.96% or 1.64 to 14.82.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.30% or 0.25 to $82.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.37% or 0.32 to hit $86.68 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.55% or 34.70 to trade at $2,273.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.00% to 4.05, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.11% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 104.37.
