Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Industrial Investment and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.15% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which rose 9.98% or 2.02 points to trade at 22.26 at the close. Meanwhile, Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191) added 9.93% or 1.94 points to end at 21.48 and Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) was up 9.93% or 3.65 points to 40.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alkhabeer REIT (SE:4348), which fell 2.87% or 0.25 points to trade at 8.46 at the close. Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) declined 2.57% or 2.80 points to end at 106.20 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) was down 1.82% or 0.55 points to 29.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 165 to 29 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.72% or 1.55 to $43.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 3.40% or 1.51 to hit $45.94 a barrel, while the October Gold Futures contract rose 2.04% or 41.00 to trade at $2049.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.80% to 4.4604, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.84% at 92.593.
