Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 9.86% or 4.80 points to trade at 53.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hokair Group (SE:1820) added 7.99% or 1.28 points to end at 17.30 and Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:7200) was up 5.38% or 2.40 points to 47.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which fell 9.96% or 2.36 points to trade at 21.34 at the close. Maharah Human Resources Co (SE:1831) declined 4.82% or 4.00 points to end at 79.00 and Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) was down 3.07% or 5.60 points to 177.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 123 to 66 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.24% or 0.78 to $63.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.40% or 0.96 to hit $69.56 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.57% or 24.45 to trade at $1576.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.26% to 4.1997, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7514.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 96.333.
