Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Industrial Investment and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.14% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Astra Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1212), which rose 9.92% or 11.80 points to trade at 130.80 at the close. Meanwhile, SAL Saudi Logistics Services Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4263) added 8.04% or 14.40 points to end at 193.60 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) was up 6.33% or 10.20 points to 171.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240), which fell 5.47% or 1.45 points to trade at 25.05 at the close. Jazan Development Co. (TADAWUL:6090) declined 2.34% or 0.36 points to end at 15.04 and Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (TADAWUL:2380) was down 1.90% or 0.20 points to 10.32.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 179 to 99 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Astra Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1212) rose to all time highs; up 9.92% or 11.80 to 130.80. Shares in SAL Saudi Logistics Services Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4263) rose to all time highs; up 8.04% or 14.40 to 193.60. Shares in Jazan Development Co. (TADAWUL:6090) fell to all time highs; falling 2.34% or 0.36 to 15.04.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.67% or 0.51 to $75.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.63% or 0.51 to hit $80.34 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 11.15 to trade at $2,080.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.37% to 4.15, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 101.08.
