Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Transport, Financial Services and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291), which rose 6.98% or 1.80 points to trade at 27.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (SE:3020) added 4.40% or 0.80 points to end at 19.00 and Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE:2190) was up 3.38% or 0.54 points to 16.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380), which fell 8.83% or 1.84 points to trade at 19.00 at the close. Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) declined 5.68% or 0.62 points to end at 10.30 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) was down 4.03% or 0.38 points to 9.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 82 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291) rose to all time highs; rising 6.98% or 1.80 to 27.60. Shares in Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (SE:3020) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 4.40% or 0.80 to 19.00. Shares in Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE:2190) rose to 3-years highs; rising 3.38% or 0.54 to 16.50.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.44% or 0.25 to $57.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.64% or 0.41 to hit $64.03 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 5.45 to trade at $1425.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.01% to 4.1796, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 97.893.
