Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Media & Publishing and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.06% or 1.74 points to trade at 20.94 at the close. Meanwhile, Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) added 4.47% or 0.50 points to end at 11.68 and Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SE:6004) was up 4.03% or 3.70 points to 95.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020), which fell 3.94% or 0.60 points to trade at 14.64 at the close. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) declined 3.39% or 0.80 points to end at 22.80 and United Electronics Company (SE:4003) was down 3.28% or 2.00 points to 59.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 92 to 76 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.39% or 0.80 to 22.80. Shares in Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SE:6004) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 4.03% or 3.70 to 95.50.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.22% or 0.16 to $73.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $77.72 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 2.90 to trade at $1256.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.11% to 4.3677, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.38.
