Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Financial Services and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.11% to hit a new 3-years high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060), which rose 9.90% or 5.00 points to trade at 55.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) added 9.26% or 2.06 points to end at 24.30 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) was up 6.33% or 0.76 points to 12.76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170), which fell 5.29% or 1.45 points to trade at 25.95 at the close. Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280) declined 3.38% or 0.29 points to end at 8.30 and Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) was down 3.32% or 0.60 points to 17.48.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 125 to 53 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.26% or 0.14 to $53.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.23% or 0.14 to hit $61.84 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.25 to trade at $1317.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.16% to 4.2728, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 95.903.
