Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Cement, Financial Services and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which rose 8.44% or 2.55 points to trade at 32.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) added 5.14% or 1.60 points to end at 32.70 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 3.61% or 0.38 points to 10.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300), which fell 9.92% or 1.01 points to trade at 9.17 at the close. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) declined 9.61% or 2.44 points to end at 22.96 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130) was down 8.70% or 1.48 points to 15.54.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 145 to 38 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) fell to all time lows; losing 9.92% or 1.01 to 9.17. Shares in Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.61% or 2.44 to 22.96.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.06% or 0.65 to $61.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.10% or 0.77 to hit $71.00 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.65 to trade at $1298.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.13% to 4.2032, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 97.308.
