Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Retail and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:6050), which rose 9.86% or 2.46 points to trade at 27.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Halwani Bros (TADAWUL:6001) added 8.26% or 4.40 points to end at 57.70 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) was up 7.73% or 3.55 points to 49.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160), which fell 3.18% or 0.95 points to trade at 28.90 at the close. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210) declined 2.32% or 5.40 points to end at 227.40 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010) was down 1.86% or 3.00 points to 158.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 203 to 78 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) rose to all time highs; gaining 7.73% or 3.55 to 49.50.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.96% or 0.76 to $78.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.90% or 0.74 to hit $81.92 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 5.45 to trade at $2,038.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.28% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 104.04.
