Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Hotels & Tourism and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120), which rose 6.14% or 0.70 points to trade at 12.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Halwani Bros (SE:6001) added 5.60% or 1.55 points to end at 29.25 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) was up 3.08% or 0.24 points to 8.02 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270), which fell 5.79% or 1.10 points to trade at 17.90 at the close. The Saudi British Bank (SE:1060) declined 4.75% or 1.70 points to end at 34.10 and Al Kathiri Holding Co (SE:3008) was down 3.61% or 4.20 points to 112.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 97 to 84 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.46% or 0.27 to $57.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.27% or 0.17 to hit $62.84 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.25 to trade at $1462.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 4.1274, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 98.300.
