Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Building & Construction and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tabuk Cement Co. (SE:3090), which rose 6.49% or 0.78 points to trade at 12.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) added 6.16% or 1.34 points to end at 23.10 and Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) was up 5.51% or 4.40 points to 84.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030), which fell 4.68% or 0.72 points to trade at 14.68 at the close. Taiba Holding Co. (SE:4090) declined 2.86% or 0.85 points to end at 28.90 and Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) was down 2.52% or 0.19 points to 7.35.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 87 to 85 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Taiba Holding Co. (SE:4090) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.86% or 0.85 to 28.90.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.98% or 0.70 to $72.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.71% or 0.57 to hit $81.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.94% or 11.30 to trade at $1187.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.55% to 4.3799, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 94.36.
