Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Multi Investment and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (SE:8012), which rose 5.88% or 1.60 points to trade at 28.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) added 5.70% or 1.70 points to end at 31.50 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) was up 5.49% or 1.50 points to 28.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 4.06% or 0.80 points to trade at 18.90 at the close. Zamil Industrial Investment Co (SE:2240) declined 3.82% or 1.10 points to end at 27.70 and Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) was down 3.45% or 1.20 points to 33.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 86 to 65 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.76% or 0.85 to $47.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.44% or 0.74 to hit $50.61 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.25 to trade at $1201.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.20% to 3.9874, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 101.48.
