Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.04% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300), which rose 9.95% or 2.20 points to trade at 24.30 at the close. Meanwhile, SABB Takaful (SE:8080) added 9.88% or 1.52 points to end at 16.90 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) was up 9.64% or 1.60 points to 18.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anb Insurance (SE:8011), which fell 3.49% or 0.78 points to trade at 21.60 at the close. Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) declined 2.31% or 1.30 points to end at 55.00 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) was down 2.31% or 0.28 points to 11.86.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 111 to 72 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.41% or 0.25 to $60.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.63% or 0.42 to hit $66.81 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 6.15 to trade at $1494.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.03% to 4.1578, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7523.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 97.305.
