Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Cement, Energy & Utilities and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.03% to hit a new 5-year high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (SE:2082), which rose 7.24% or 7.40 points to trade at 109.60 at the close. Meanwhile, SABIC AgriNutrients Co (SE:2020) added 6.52% or 12.20 points to end at 199.40 and Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) was up 6.38% or 7.80 points to 130.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200), which fell 4.47% or 0.80 points to trade at 17.10 at the close. Methanol Chemicals Company (SE:2001) declined 3.99% or 1.80 points to end at 43.30 and Alinma Bank (SE:1150) was down 3.93% or 1.35 points to 33.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 144 to 79 and 8 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.07% or 1.24 to $116.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.26% or 2.67 to hit $120.78 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 8.00 to trade at $1,974.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.14% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 98.80.
