Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Transport, Media & Publishing and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Bawan (SE:1302), which rose 9.98% or 1.72 points to trade at 18.96 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) added 9.93% or 2.00 points to end at 22.14 and Najran Cement Company (SE:3002) was up 9.51% or 1.40 points to 16.12 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061), which fell 9.98% or 43.00 points to trade at 387.80 at the close. Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) declined 7.25% or 1.68 points to end at 21.50 and Fitaihi Holding Group (SE:4180) was down 5.98% or 1.12 points to 17.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 95 to 94 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.01% or 1.20 to $38.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.59% or 1.09 to hit $40.98 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.85 to trade at $1908.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.35% to 4.4317, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 93.037.
