Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Transport, Energy & Utilities and Multi Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:8150), which rose 9.72% or 2.08 points to trade at 23.48 at the close. Meanwhile, City Cement Co (SE:3003) added 8.07% or 1.02 points to end at 13.66 and Saudi Ground Services Co (SE:4031) was up 7.58% or 2.00 points to 28.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200), which fell 3.84% or 0.52 points to trade at 13.02 at the close. The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150) declined 3.71% or 0.54 points to end at 14.00 and Halwani Bros (SE:6001) was down 3.22% or 1.60 points to 48.15.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 94 to 86 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.72% or 0.91 to $34.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.99% or 1.07 to hit $36.82 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.37% or 23.95 to trade at $1728.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.06% to 4.1242, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7563.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 99.237.
