SEOUL, Jan 14 (Reuters) - South Korean regulators said they plan to release the results of an investigation into potential irregular trades by Deutsche Bank AG's brokerage unit by March, after massive foreign stock selling caused a sharp fall in the domestic stock market in November.

"(The probe) has made considerable progress and needs a legal review," a Financial Services Commission official said on Friday. [ID:nTOE6AB03D]

Financial watchdogs on Tuesday announced a plan to tighten regulations for financial derivatives trades, following a steep market slide on Nov. 11 of almost 3 percent amid options expiry. Most of the foreign selling came from Deutsche Bank's brokerage unit accounts. [ID:nTOE70A06W]
