The best performers of the session on the Athens General-Composite were Euro Reliance (AT:EREr), which rose 10.43% or 0.340 points to trade at 3.600 at the close. Meanwhile, Iaso (AT:IASr) added 9.88% or 0.085 points to end at 0.945 and Viohalco SA (AT:VIOH) was up 7.41% or 0.180 points to 2.610 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Select Textile (AT:EPIr), which fell 9.28% or 0.022 points to trade at 0.214 at the close. Athens Medical (AT:AMCr) declined 5.22% or 0.070 points to end at 1.270 and Motor Oil Hellas Corinth Refineries SA (AT:MORr) was down 3.23% or 0.62 points to 18.58.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 61 to 46 and 11 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.87% or 10.87 to $1245.53 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.40% or 0.17 to hit $42.84 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract fell 0.63% or 0.29 to trade at $45.46 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.06% to 1.1202, while EUR/GBP fell 0.06% to 0.8794.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 96.93.
