HONG KONG, Oct 13 (Reuters) - Standard Chartered Plc said it plans to raise 3.3 billion pounds ($5.3 billion) through a rights offering to raise its capital adequacy ratio.
The bank said on Wednesday its rights offering will be priced at 1,280 pence per share, a 32.9 percent discount to the stock's last close.
StanChart said the rights issue will raise its forecast core Tier 1 capital ratio by 2 percent.
