Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Media, Energy and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 lost 0.88%.
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Grupa Azoty SA (WA:ATTP), which rose 0.89% or 0.42 points to trade at 47.62 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupa Lotos SA (WA:LTSP) added 0.65% or 0.38 points to end at 58.88 and mBank SA (WA:MBK) was up 0.19% or 0.80 points to 430.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Globe Trade Centre SA (WA:GTCP), which fell 2.12% or 0.20 points to trade at 9.24 at the close. Tauron Polska Energia SA (WA:TPE) declined 2.07% or 0.050 points to end at 2.370 and CD Projekt SA (WA:CDR) was down 1.83% or 2.80 points to 150.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 210 to 198 and 194 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.64% or 0.42 to $65.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.16% or 0.90 to hit $76.42 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1303.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was up 0.08% to 4.2791, while USD/PLN rose 0.30% to 3.6342.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 93.54.
