Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Information Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 lost 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Globe Trade Centre SA (WA:GTCP), which rose 1.41% or 0.13 points to trade at 9.37 at the close. Meanwhile, Enea SA (WA:ENAE) added 1.23% or 0.13 points to end at 10.70 and OrangePL (WA:OPL) was up 0.80% or 0.04 points to 5.02 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CD Projekt SA (WA:CDR), which fell 4.26% or 6.40 points to trade at 143.80 at the close. Grupa Azoty SA (WA:ATTP) declined 3.40% or 1.62 points to end at 46.00 and CCC SA (WA:CCCP) was down 2.04% or 5.00 points to 240.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 230 to 191 and 192 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.70% or 0.46 to $66.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.13% or 0.10 to hit $76.56 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.10 to trade at $1304.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was down 0.23% to 4.2677, while USD/PLN fell 0.43% to 3.6189.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 93.53.
