Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Developers and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 declined 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Synthos SA (WA:SNS), which rose 1.88% or 0.090 points to trade at 4.870 at the close. Meanwhile, Asseco Poland SA (WA:ACPP) added 1.46% or 0.70 points to end at 48.50 and Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (WA:PGN) was up 1.17% or 0.08 points to 6.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were mBank SA (WA:MBK), which fell 2.29% or 10.00 points to trade at 427.00 at the close. CD Projekt SA (WA:CDR) declined 2.05% or 1.75 points to end at 83.80 and Globe Trade Centre SA (WA:GTCP) was down 2.00% or 0.20 points to 9.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 268 to 210 and 186 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.32% or 1.57 to $48.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.20% or 1.15 to hit $53.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.92% or 12.25 to trade at $1342.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was down 0.04% to 4.2383, while USD/PLN fell 0.22% to 3.5562.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 92.25.
