Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Developers, Telecoms and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 fell 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Kernel Holding SA (WA:KER), which rose 4.98% or 2.29 points to trade at 48.29 at the close. Meanwhile, Eurocash SA (WA:EUR) added 2.17% or 0.78 points to end at 36.80 and Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:JSW) was up 2.01% or 2.00 points to 101.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Globe Trade Centre SA (WA:GTCP), which fell 4.09% or 0.40 points to trade at 9.37 at the close. Asseco Poland SA (WA:ACPP) declined 1.20% or 0.55 points to end at 45.34 and Tauron Polska Energia SA (WA:TPE) was down 1.15% or 0.040 points to 3.440.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 293 to 196 and 169 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.04% or 0.02 to $51.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $57.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 6.83 to trade at $1283.17 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was down 0.16% to 4.2286, while USD/PLN rose 0.43% to 3.5890.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 93.52.
