Investing.com – Poland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Developers and Energy sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 gained 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Dino Polska SA (WA:DNP), which rose 4.25% or 13.40 points to trade at 328.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Enea SA (WA:ENAE) added 2.79% or 0.29 points to end at 10.68 and KGHM Polska Miedz SA (WA:KGH) was up 2.04% or 3.00 points to 149.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were mBank SA (WA:MBK), which fell 4.72% or 31.00 points to trade at 626.00 at the close. CD PROJEKT SA (WA:CDR) declined 4.61% or 8.10 points to end at 167.60 and Bank Millennium SA (WA:MILP) was down 1.76% or 0.16 points to 8.66.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 310 to 193 and 110 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.79% or 0.56 to $70.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.60% or 0.44 to hit $73.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 9.90 to trade at $2,656.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was up 0.16% to 4.27, while USD/PLN rose 0.43% to 3.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 100.49.
