Investing.com – Poland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Telecoms and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 added 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Bank Millennium SA (WA:MILP), which rose 7.39% or 0.65 points to trade at 9.45 at the close. Meanwhile, mBank SA (WA:MBK) added 3.87% or 15.20 points to end at 408.00 and Tauron Polska Energia SA (WA:TPE) was up 3.35% or 0.060 points to 1.850 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dino Polska SA (WA:DNP), which fell 4.43% or 3.75 points to trade at 80.95 at the close. CCC SA (WA:CCCP) declined 3.96% or 7.10 points to end at 172.40 and Eurocash SA (WA:EUR) was down 2.81% or 0.59 points to 20.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 16 to 13 and 1 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.39% or 1.51 to $61.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.20% or 1.61 to hit $71.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1228.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was down 0.10% to 4.3038, while USD/PLN fell 0.19% to 3.7686.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 96.09.
