FRANKFURT (Reuters) - German pilots' union Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) said more strikes at Lufthansa were likely as its row with the airline's management over early retirement benefits continued.
"The VC bargaining committee will seek to close the ranks with its members in a number of meetings in the coming weeks," the union said in a statement on Thursday.
"During the upcoming meetings the continuation of industrial action is possible and likely at any time," it added.
VC staged a series of 10 strikes last year in a row with management over an early retirement scheme, costing the airline close to 200 million euros ($234 million) in operating profit and affecting hundreds of thousands of passengers.
