Investing.com – Philippines stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Property, Holding Firms and Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Philippines, the PSEi Composite fell 1.23%.
The best performers of the session on the PSEi Composite were Manila Electric Co (PS:MER), which rose 3.66% or 10.80 points to trade at 305.80 at the close. Meanwhile, LT Group Inc (PS:LTG) added 3.22% or 0.560 points to end at 17.960 and Jollibee Foods Corp (PS:JFC) was up 2.31% or 5.80 points to 257.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Semirara Mining Corp (PS:SCC), which fell 3.13% or 1.20 points to trade at 37.10 at the close. Ayala Land Inc (PS:ALI) declined 2.97% or 1.300 points to end at 42.500 and SM Investments Corp (PS:SM) was down 2.76% or 27.00 points to 953.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Philippines Stock Exchange by 115 to 71 and 50 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.21% or 2.63 to $1276.83 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $56.72 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.16% or 0.10 to trade at $63.42 a barrel.
CNY/PHP was down 0.10% to 7.7076, while USD/PHP fell 0.09% to 51.190.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 94.50.
