Investing.com – Philippines stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Property and Holding Firms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Philippines, the PSEi Composite declined 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the PSEi Composite were Robinsons Land Corp (PS:RLC), which rose 4.57% or 1.000 points to trade at 22.900 at the close. Meanwhile, DMCI Holdings Inc (PS:DMC) added 4.30% or 0.620 points to end at 15.040 and Metro Pacific Investments Corp (PS:MPI) was up 3.40% or 0.220 points to 6.700 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc (PS:AEV), which fell 4.70% or 3.450 points to trade at 70.000 at the close. Jollibee Foods Corp (PS:JFC) declined 3.33% or 8.40 points to end at 243.60 and Universal Robina Corp (PS:URC) was down 2.85% or 3.90 points to 133.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Philippines Stock Exchange by 104 to 84 and 52 ended unchanged.
Shares in Universal Robina Corp (PS:URC) fell to 3-years lows; losing 2.85% or 3.90 to 133.00.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.05% or 0.64 to $1295.54 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 0.38% or 0.22 to hit $57.77 a barrel, while the February Brent oil contract fell 0.41% or 0.26 to trade at $62.98 a barrel.
CNY/PHP was down 0.08% to 7.6134, while USD/PHP fell 0.22% to 50.230.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 93.03.
