Investing.com – Philippines stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking & Financials, Industrials and Property sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Philippines, the PSEi Composite fell 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the PSEi Composite were First Gen Corp (PS:FGEN), which rose 7.04% or 1.02 points to trade at 15.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Robinsons Land Corp (PS:RLC) added 3.98% or 0.790 points to end at 20.650 and PLDT Inc (PS:TEL) was up 2.30% or 35.00 points to 1560.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jollibee Foods Corp (PS:JFC), which fell 2.96% or 9.00 points to trade at 295.00 at the close. BDO Unibank Inc (PS:BDO) declined 2.91% or 4.50 points to end at 150.00 and LT Group Inc (PS:LTG) was down 2.90% or 0.600 points to 20.100.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Philippines Stock Exchange by 118 to 84 and 60 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.05% or 0.70 to $1328.30 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 0.15% or 0.09 to hit $61.24 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract rose 0.12% or 0.08 to trade at $64.42 a barrel.
CNY/PHP was up 0.09% to 8.2354, while USD/PHP rose 0.04% to 52.069.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 89.60.
