Investing.com – Philippines stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Services, Industrials and Property sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Philippines, the PSEi Composite lost 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the PSEi Composite were GT Capital Holdings Inc (PS:GTCAP), which rose 2.21% or 26.00 points to trade at 1201.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Globe Telecom Inc (PS:GLO) added 1.47% or 30.00 points to end at 2074.00 and Ayala Corp (PS:AC) was up 1.37% or 13.00 points to 963.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petron Corp (PS:PCOR), which fell 2.46% or 0.260 points to trade at 10.300 at the close. Energy Development Corp (PS:EDC) declined 2.35% or 0.170 points to end at 7.070 and JG Summit Holdings Inc (PS:JGS) was down 1.41% or 1.100 points to 77.000.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Philippines Stock Exchange by 109 to 93 and 47 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.43% or 5.56 to $1300.36 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.06% or 0.03 to hit $50.52 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.11% or 0.06 to trade at $56.37 a barrel.
CNY/PHP was down 0.78% to 7.6888, while USD/PHP fell 0.74% to 50.680.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 91.63.
