Investing.com – Philippines stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Property, Banking & Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Philippines, the PSEi Composite gained 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the PSEi Composite were LT Group Inc (PS:LTG), which rose 2.25% or 0.450 points to trade at 20.450 at the close. Meanwhile, Petron Corp (PS:PCOR) added 2.13% or 0.190 points to end at 9.090 and Security Bank Corp (PS:SECB) was up 2.05% or 4.00 points to 199.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Robinsons Land Corp (PS:RLC), which fell 1.67% or 0.350 points to trade at 20.600 at the close. DMCI Holdings Inc (PS:DMC) declined 1.09% or 0.120 points to end at 10.840 and Ayala Corp (PS:AC) was down 1.02% or 10.00 points to 969.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Philippines Stock Exchange by 107 to 95 and 43 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.12% or 1.50 to $1300.70 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.18% or 0.12 to hit $65.64 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract rose 0.74% or 0.56 to trade at $75.94 a barrel.
CNY/PHP was up 0.24% to 8.1976, while USD/PHP rose 0.11% to 52.426.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 93.68.
