Investing.com – Peru stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking & Financials, Industrials and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General fell 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Panoro (LM:PML), which rose 6.06% or 0.020 points to trade at 0.350 at the close. Meanwhile, Volcan Minera (LM:VOL_pb) added 3.50% or 0.050 points to end at 1.480 and Minsur (LM:MINi) was up 1.71% or 0.030 points to 1.790 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sider (LM:SID), which fell 3.03% or 0.015 points to trade at 0.480 at the close. Buenaventura (LM:BVN) declined 2.31% or 0.340 points to end at 14.400 and Trevali Mining (LM:TV) was down 1.65% or 0.020 points to 1.190.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 13 to 12 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.25% or 0.65 to $51.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $57.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.71% or 9.15 to trade at $1292.15 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.2365, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.8309.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 93.00.
