Investing.com – Peru stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Mining, Non-Metal Minerals and Electricity sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General fell 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Minera Irl (LM:IRL), which unchanged 3.61% or 0.00 points to trade at 0.09 at the close. Meanwhile, Empresa Agroindustrial Pomalca (LM:POM) added 1.95% or 0.003 points to end at 0.157 and Grana Y Monter (LM:GRA) was up 1.09% or 0.030 points to 2.790 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Atacocha (LM:ATB), which fell 2.25% or 0.009 points to trade at 0.391 at the close. Relapasa (LM:REL) declined 2.00% or 0.005 points to end at 0.245 and Aceros Arequip (LM:AREi) was down 1.67% or 0.010 points to 0.590.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 14 to 13 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.81% or 0.40 to $49.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $55.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 5.68 to trade at $1333.68 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.2370, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.8500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 92.04.
