Investing.com – Peru stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the S&P Lima Juniors, Mining and Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General fell 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Andino Investment Holding SAA (LM:AIH), which rose 4.04% or 0.040 points to trade at 1.030 at the close. Meanwhile, Trevali Mining (LM:TV) added 3.70% or 0.020 points to end at 0.560 and Casa Grande (LM:CSG) was up 2.56% or 0.100 points to 4.000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Empresa Agroindustrial Pomalca (LM:POM), which fell 11.00% or 0.011 points to trade at 0.089 at the close. Panoro (LM:PML) declined 6.52% or 0.015 points to end at 0.215 and Nexa Resources Peru SAA (LM:NXA) was down 2.13% or 0.080 points to 3.670.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 14 to 12 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Andino Investment Holding SAA (LM:AIH) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.04% or 0.040 to 1.030. Shares in Empresa Agroindustrial Pomalca (LM:POM) fell to 5-year lows; down 11.00% or 0.011 to 0.089.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.72% or 0.51 to $71.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.30% or 0.24 to hit $80.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 6.00 to trade at $1221.60 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was up 0.21% to 3.3345, while EUR/PEN fell 0.09% to 3.8498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 94.94.
