Investing.com – Peru stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the S&P Lima Juniors, Mining and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General gained 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Panoro (LM:PML), which rose 8.97% or 0.014 points to trade at 0.170 at the close. Meanwhile, Volcan Minera (LM:VOL_pb) added 8.11% or 0.060 points to end at 0.800 and Trevali Mining (LM:TV) was up 5.66% or 0.030 points to 0.560 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Candente Copper (LM:DNT), which fell 3.45% or 0.0020 points to trade at 0.0560 at the close. Milpo (LM:MIL) declined 3.26% or 0.140 points to end at 4.160 and Aceros Arequip (LM:AREi) was down 1.35% or 0.010 points to 0.730.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 20 to 6 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.05% or 0.71 to $68.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.20% or 0.90 to hit $75.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.53% or 18.30 to trade at $1212.30 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was down 0.35% to 3.2909, while EUR/PEN rose 0.55% to 3.8262.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 95.08.
