Investing.com – Peru stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the S&P Lima Juniors, Banking & Financials and Mining sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General added 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Candente Copper (LM:DNT), which rose 8.33% or 0.0080 points to trade at 0.1040 at the close. Meanwhile, Panoro (LM:PML) added 4.24% or 0.014 points to end at 0.344 and Buenaventura (LM:BVN) was up 3.29% or 0.460 points to 14.460 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Volcan Compania Minera SAA (LM:VOLa), which fell 4.04% or 0.160 points to trade at 3.800 at the close. Minsur (LM:MINi) declined 2.17% or 0.040 points to end at 1.800 and Enel Distribucion Peru SAA (LM:ENE) was down 1.72% or 0.100 points to 5.700.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 15 to 14 and 10 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.60% or 0.81 to $51.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.65% or 0.93 to hit $57.18 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.69% or 8.90 to trade at $1305.40 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was down 0.09% to 3.2505, while EUR/PEN fell 0.18% to 3.8439.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 92.92.
