Investing.com – Peru stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Mining, Non-Metal Minerals and Banking & Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General gained 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Trevali Mining (LM:TV), which rose 5.71% or 0.060 points to trade at 1.110 at the close. Meanwhile, Andino Investment Holding SAA (LM:AIH) added 4.97% or 0.090 points to end at 1.900 and Cerro Verde (LM:CVE) was up 1.75% or 0.500 points to 29.000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were PPX Mining Corp (LM:PPX), which unchanged 1.67% or 0.00 points to trade at 0.06 at the close. Atacocha (LM:ATB) declined 1.59% or 0.010 points to end at 0.620 and Panoro (LM:PML) was down 1.57% or 0.004 points to 0.251.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 14 to 9 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 3.31% or 1.99 to $62.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 3.08% or 1.96 to hit $65.57 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.50 to trade at $1324.20 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was up 0.04% to 3.2592, while EUR/PEN rose 0.24% to 4.0174.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 90.09.
