Investing.com – Peru stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Electricity, Services and Non-Metal Minerals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General rose 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Andino Investment Holding SAA (LM:AIH), which rose 3.57% or 0.100 points to trade at 2.900 at the close. Meanwhile, Casa Grande (LM:CSG) added 2.78% or 0.100 points to end at 3.700 and Inversiones Centenario SAA (LM:ICE) was up 2.57% or 0.090 points to 3.590 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Candente Copper (LM:DNT), which fell 12.28% or 0.0070 points to trade at 0.0500 at the close. Compania Minera Milpo SAA Class I (LM:MILi) declined 6.96% or 0.160 points to end at 2.140 and Minsur (LM:MINi) was down 4.70% or 0.070 points to 1.420.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 14 to 9 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Candente Copper (LM:DNT) fell to 52-week lows; down 12.28% or 0.0070 to 0.0500.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.10% or 0.07 to $67.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.69% or 0.53 to hit $77.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.50 to trade at $1201.80 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was down 0.07% to 3.3197, while EUR/PEN fell 0.65% to 3.8374.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 95.38.
