Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Biomed and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Bezeq (TA:BEZQ), which rose 1.92% or 15.8 points to trade at 838.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Gazit Globe (TA:GZT) added 1.91% or 55 points to end at 2930 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) was up 1.84% or 980 points to 54300 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which fell 3.09% or 36 points to trade at 1129 at the close. Avner L (TA:AVNRp) declined 1.88% or 4.3 points to end at 224.7 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was down 1.13% or 750 points to 65400.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 242 to 88 and 124 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.22% or 0.36 to $29.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.12% or 0.38 to hit $33.73 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 2.74% or 34.00 to trade at $1205.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.47% to 3.8986, while EUR/ILS fell 0.90% to 4.3445.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.84% at 96.80.
