Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 2.69% or 0.83 points to trade at 31.74 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) added 2.43% or 2.30 points to end at 96.80 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken A (ST:SEBa) was up 1.28% or 1.15 points to 91.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 5.40% or 13.6 points to trade at 238.4 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) declined 1.32% or 3.6 points to end at 268.8 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was down 0.82% or 2.2 points to 266.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 352 to 200 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.92% or 0.43 to $46.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.28% or 0.64 to hit $48.92 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.58% or 6.60 to trade at $1134.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.15% to 9.3819, while USD/SEK fell 0.34% to 8.5092.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.10% at 96.89.
