Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Utilities and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Valmt (HE:VALMT), which rose 1.64% or 0.16 points to trade at 9.93 at the close. Meanwhile, Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) added 1.26% or 0.044 points to end at 3.524 and TeliaSonera AB (HE:TLS1V) was up 1.12% or 0.052 points to 4.690 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kemira Oyj (HE:KRA1V), which fell 5.99% or 0.65 points to trade at 10.20 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:MEO1V) declined 5.79% or 1.30 points to end at 21.15 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was down 1.71% or 0.73 points to 41.89.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 92 to 75 and 18 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for May delivery was up 0.43% or 0.18 to $41.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May fell 0.26% or 0.11 to hit $41.41 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.34% or 4.20 to trade at $1248.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.19% to 1.1221, while EUR/GBP rose 0.91% to 0.7895.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.25% at 95.64.
