WASHINGTON, Jan 25 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama will call for closing tax loopholes and using the savings to lower the corporate tax rate in his State of the Union address on Tuesday, according to a draft of the speech published by the National Journal.
He also will repeat his insistence that the country cannot afford a permanent extension of tax cuts for the wealthiest 2 percent of Americans, the draft published by the National Journal said.
