Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 6.97% or 0.08 points to trade at 1.27 at the close. Meanwhile, TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 2.09% or 3.8 points to end at 186.0 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was up 1.88% or 0.54 points to 29.21 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telenor ASA (OL:TEL), which fell 1.70% or 2.2 points to trade at 127.5 at the close. Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) declined 1.49% or 0.51 points to end at 33.64 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was down 1.02% or 0.09 points to 8.23.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 106 to 71 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.26% or 0.14 to $53.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.51% or 0.28 to hit $55.20 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.87% or 9.90 to trade at $1132.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.10% to 9.0452, while USD/NOK rose 0.14% to 8.7005.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 103.23.
