Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 2.78%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Telenor ASA (OL:TEL), which rose 0.85% or 1.10 points to trade at 131.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) fell 0.38% or 0.35 points to end at 90.85 and Mowi ASA (OL:MOWI) was down 1.12% or 2.05 points to 181.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD), which fell 9.28% or 13.10 points to trade at 128.05 at the close. Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) declined 8.06% or 5.90 points to end at 67.30 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) was down 7.58% or 9.00 points to 109.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 254 to 40 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.29% or 2.51 to $73.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.92% or 2.32 to hit $77.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 8.10 to trade at $2,472.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 1.26% to 11.97, while USD/NOK rose 0.08% to 10.95.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.21% at 102.95.
