Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 2.39% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Orkla ASA (OL:ORK), which rose 0.66% or 0.50 points to trade at 75.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA) fell 0.60% or 0.57 points to end at 93.93 and Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) was down 1.34% or 1.70 points to 125.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 7.03% or 1.14 points to trade at 15.02 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 6.32% or 1.03 points to end at 15.28 and Nel ASA (OL:NEL) was down 6.26% or 0.570 points to 8.535.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 177 to 39 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.66% or 0.98 to $58.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.76% or 1.21 to hit $67.46 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 3.95 to trade at $1281.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.25% to 9.7576, while USD/NOK rose 0.49% to 8.7646.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 98.042.
