Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 2.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS), which rose 5.34% or 0.58 points to trade at 11.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) fell 0.07% or 0.10 points to end at 133.40 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) was down 0.09% or 1.00 points to 1,085.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 7.28% or 0.41 points to trade at 5.25 at the close. TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) declined 6.61% or 7.80 points to end at 110.20 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) was down 5.44% or 7.60 points to 132.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 242 to 45 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 4.08% or 3.00 to $70.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 4.54% or 3.52 to hit $74.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 18.25 to trade at $2,509.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.81% to 11.81, while USD/NOK rose 1.09% to 10.70.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 101.72.
