Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 1.74%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Telenor ASA (OL:TEL), which rose 0.51% or 0.9 points to trade at 188.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA) added 0.31% or 0.30 points to end at 97.90 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 177.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 10.94% or 0.630 points to trade at 5.130 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 8.00% or 1.36 points to end at 15.64 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was down 7.16% or 3.02 points to 39.16.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 178 to 36 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.53% or 1.35 to $51.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.05% or 1.28 to hit $61.01 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 4.75 to trade at $1335.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.02% to 9.7729, while USD/NOK rose 0.29% to 8.6530.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 96.920.
