Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Diversified Financials, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 1.60%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OSLO:NWC), which rose 0.72% or 2.2 points to trade at 308.0 at the close. Meanwhile, DNO International ASA (OSLO:DNO) fell 0.23% or 0.03 points to end at 13.27 and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OSLO:RCLo) was down 0.43% or 2.5 points to 581.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OSLO:REC), which fell 4.52% or 0.10 points to trade at 2.16 at the close. Storebrand ASA (OSLO:STB) declined 3.32% or 1.04 points to end at 30.28 and Akastor ASA (OSLO:AKAS) was down 3.29% or 0.5 points to 15.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 133 to 44 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Akastor ASA (OSLO:AKAS) fell to all time lows; losing 3.29% or 0.5 to 15.9.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.69% or 0.39 to $56.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.96% or 0.59 to hit $62.67 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.19% or 14.30 to trade at $1188.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.40% to 8.4954, while USD/NOK rose 0.46% to 7.9199.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 98.26.
